It’s tough to keep a list of all the things we’re expecting in F1 after the long summer break ends this weekend but the most important part – it’s beginning with a Triple Header!
After getting cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, The Dutch Grand Prix is back. This time sandwiched between Spa and Monza giving a fulfilling treat to the fans.
The fight resumes
The remaining 2021 F1 season will see the battle continuation between the current leading driver champion Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen who will be aiming for his first championship. With only 8 points between them, it’ll be thrilling to watch their elbows out.
On the other hand, there are yet no announcements for the future of Valtteri Bottas. Will he drive for Mercedes in the upcoming season, drive for other team or have no seat at all? Adding to this misery is his five-place grid penalty that he got for causing a collision at the Hungaroring.
Lance Stroll, from Aston Martin faces the same fate of grid penalty like Bottas. Despite a disqualification in the previous race, Sebastian Vettel is showing a decent pace, making the fans wishing for more.
Will Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) relive his first F1 win in Spa from 2019 or Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) at Monza 2020 or we’ll get to see different race winners this time? So far only Perez and Ocon have won races this year other than the usual duo of Lewis and Max.
Struggling in his new seat, Daniel Ricciardo will hopefully get better. His teammate, Lando Norris currently third in the championship has put up a great show till now with three podiums already in this season. Who knows we get to see both of them doing a shoey!
The fight in the back with Williams scoring their first points and the rookies (Alonso included) showcasing their potential, this F1 season is no more just the wrestle in front. Get ready to melt after the summers!
