Trae’s Surprise Debut
The villain arc of Trae Young continues to grow. After tormenting Knicks fans throughout the playoffs, Trae’s back for more. Furthermore, the WWE is holding their weekly Smackdown show in MSG. The show was slated to have huge names, including Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Edge, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and more. However, none of us expected Hawks Superstar Trae Young to show up. The Atlanta Hawks guard debuted to an incredible amount of boos from New York. Undoubtedly still bitter about the playoffs loss.
The 2021 Playoffs
Previously, Trae was making enemies left and right in the playoffs. After hitting the game winner in the first game against the Knicks, Trae decided to shush the crowd. Unquestionably, one of the best moments in the playoffs. In addition to that, Trae would get spat on by someone in the front row and be on the receiving end of inappropriate chants. Despite that, Trae and the Hawks would come out on top after eliminating the Knicks in 5. However, the young star would also have his own fun. From bowing on the logo to barking back and forth with the hostile crowd. Soon Trae became the villain of the NBA that we desperately needed.
Trae plays the heel role tremendously, antagonizing the Madison Square Garden crowd. Of course, this wasn’t the first time this occurred. The rising star got in on the action, attacking the legendary Rey Mysterio. Because of this, Trae would be tossed from ringside after being caught by the ref. Trae has been providing us with fun moments throughout this year. Furthermore, the game-winners, bows, shimmies, and surreal moments like these. We’ve seen athletes and celebrities get more involved with pro wrestling recently. For example, guys like Logan Paul, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis, are few prominent ones. Hopefully, we’ll get to see him again in the WWE shortly.
