College Football Playoff Predictions week two. This week there will be a big shakeup in the rankings as there were a lot of upsets and a lot of teams who didn’t look dominant. But there were a lot of teams who made a strong case to be in the playoff. And here are my rankings for this week as there will be a new 4 seed this week in the playoff.
College Football Playoff Rankings- 1. Alabama
Again For the second week in a row, there is no surprise why Alabama is number one. Alabama the first two weeks has looks dominant on both sides of the ball, and they don’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. As I know they played Mercer this week an FCS School, but they have looked dominant on both sides of the ball. But this week Alabama goes to the swamp they are currently a -14.5 point favorite. I think the gators pull off the upset, I just think this is Florida’s year. And Florida’s QB Anthony Richardson has been great the past couple of weeks. With Nick Saban struggling with scrambling QB’S in the past. Johnny Manzel and Bo Nix. I called Oregon upsetting Ohio State last week, and I am calling Florida to pull off the upset this week.
2. Georgia – College Football Playoff Predictions
No Surprise who is two as Georgia has also looked dominant the last couple of weeks. And I know they played a struggling UAB team this week, but they don’t look like they are slowing down anytime soon. As Georgia plays South Carolina this week who I predicted to finish last in the east. Georgia sits at a -30.5 favorite, and for me give me all the points. As South Carolina is rebuilding this year, and won’t put up much of a fight.
No surprise here at number three either as Oklahoma hasn’t really impressed anybody. But they have stayed constant, which is all they need to do. As Spencer Rattler looked much better against Western Carolina this week. After struggling against Tulane last week, he looked like the Heisman candidate we expected before the season. Oklahoma plays Nebraska this week and our a -22.0 favorite, I think Oklahoma wins. But not by that many as I think Scott Frost and Nebraska will keep it close for a half.
Number four in my playoff rankings may be a surprise to some people. But with the win, they have over Iowa State where they basically dominated the whole second half. It’s hard not to put them up there, but I can see how you could put other teams up there. Iowa plays Kent State this week they are a -22.5 point favorite, give me all those points the way their defense has been looking.
5- Oregon, 6- Cincinnati, 7-Texas A&M, 8-Notre Dame, 9-Clemson, 10-Ohio State
