Vladimir Guerrero Jr chasing history as he tries to become only the 14th person all-time to win the triple crown. As it sits right now he is first in batting average batting an impressive .318. He is first in home runs as it sits right now with 46, but Salvador Perez has 45. And Shohei Ohtani has 44 which both guys are right on his tail for the league lead in home runs. He is third in RBI’S as it sits with 104, Salvador Perez has the league lead with 112 RBI’S.
The Hunt For The Triple Crown – Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Chasing History
Vladimir Guerrero Jr chasing history, he has a great shot to get the triple crown in my option because he is first in a lot of categories and his third in RBI’S. Which he only trails Perez by 8 RBI’S with a lot of baseball left to play. Vladimir could be the first guy since 2012 to win the triple crown. Also if he does win the triple crown he would only be the 14th one in MLB history. This year has defiantly been a lot better year for Guerrero compared to last year as he only played in 60 games last year. He also only had a .262 average with only 9 home runs and 33 RBI’S. it’s going to be a matter of if he can stay as hot with his bat and healthy.
As Guerrero tries to go for the triple crown it’s going to be very exciting to watch as he tries to make history. I am going to make a bold prediction on this one and say that he gets the triple crown. As he is hot right now and he doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. But like I said it’s just a prediction the triple crown is the hardest thing to get in baseball as only 13 people have do it. As the last couple of weeks of baseball are going to be fun and interesting. Guerrero tries to edge his name into history as he goes for the triple crown and the AL MVP.
