Week two of the NFL season brought us plenty of excitement so let’s take a look at what might be exciting to watch in week three!
Buccaneers vs Rams. Both teams enter this contest sitting nicely at 2-0. The Rams have look solid so far with new quarterback Matthew Stafford running the show. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp has been a star in the first two weeks of the season. Tom Brady has looked like his vintage self so far this season as he has thrown for 655 yards, 9 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Both defenses are elite to. The Rams are led by the best defender in football Aaron Donald on the defensive line and Tampa Bay has returned all 11 starters on defense. This should be a great back and forth battle with two elite offenses and two elite defenses squaring off in LA.
Eagles vs Cowboys. The Eagles and the Cowboys. Two historical franchises square off once again this weekend in Jerry World. Both teams are sitting at 1-1 and are looking for an early leg up on each other in the race for the NFC East crown. Expect quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts to both play well and have both teams in a position to win in the fourth quarter.
Best Offensive Matchup
Seahawks vs Vikings. The Seahawks offense scored 30 points last week and lost in overtime. The Vikings offense scored 33 points and also lost due to a missed 37 yard field goal as time expired. Both teams need to get back on track this week and will be hungry for a win in Minneapolis. Expect a high scoring affair where both offenses are operating very efficiently.
Other Games To Watch
Chargers vs Chiefs. Justin Herbert vs Patrick Mahomes. Keenan Allen vs Tyreek HIll. Derwin James vs Tyrann Mathieu. Both team’s have excellent quarterbacks, receivers, and safeties as listed above. Both teams are also coming off of close losses and want to get back on track this Sunday. Expect a close game at Arrowhead.
Packers vs 49ers. The Packers were able to get back on track this week against the Lions after an embarrassing performance in week one against the Saints. Meanwhile, Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers are sitting at 2-0 after beating the Eagles last week. Aaron Rodgers has a tough task ahead of him facing a solid 49ers defense. This should be a close one on Sunday night.
