Week 7 Players To Cut Immediately

Jalen Reagor WR Eagles #18 is one of my players to cut immediately if you have him on your Fantasy Football roster.

Coming into Fantasy Football Week 7 of the NFL season, it’s time to decide to make the tough decisions on who players to cut immediately. Fantasy owners will have to do more research than usual to get critical players for week 7, especially if you are in deep leagues of 12 or 14 teams. Sometimes, these significant pickups can help you sneak into the playoffs and or help you win your leagues. Here is my list of NFL players that you should cut immediately.

Teams on bye weeks: Chargers, Bills, Jaguars, Cowboys, Steelers, Vikings

Jalen Reagor

Reagor will be my 1st must cut immediately Fantasy Football player for week 7. Firstly, last Thursday night, Reagor got only three targets and 0 receptions against a Buccaneers team that has struggled with injures this season. Jalen Hurts always focused on throwing to his WR1 Devonta Smith, and Jalen Hurts can’t stay in the pocket with how bad his offensive line has been playing. Reagor is, as of right now, rostered on 38% of ESPN Fantasy Leagues.

Ronald Jones II

It wasn’t clear who the lead back will be in Tampa Bay coming into the season. The clear answer is Leonard Fournette. Fournette has averaged 13 rushing attempts as Ronald has only averaged 5 rushing attempts per game. However, Giovani Bernard is now being used as the receiving back in third down. With that, Jones is rostered on 34% of ESPN Fantasy Leagues. It’s time to look in a different direction. Ronald is one of those players that must be cut immediately.

Sony Michel

Remember when the Rams trade for this guy Sony for 5th and 6th round picks? Sony has not lived up to the hype while Darrell Henderson just stole the job. Firstly, Sony has only scored one rushing touchdown. In comparison, Henderson has scored a rushing touchdown in four of his five games. Another significant factor is, Henderson has scored at least 16 points (ESPN PPR) in the last three weeks. Sony continues to get an inconsistent amount of touches and should no longer be trusted on fantasy rosters.

Sammy Watkins

Week 5 marked as the first time Watkins did not get above seven targets. Sammy has not a touchdown yet this season. Firstly, Marquise Brown has emerged as the top “go-to guy” for this WR group. In addition, it is the health of Watkins; he was not able to play in week 6, and he might have a good chance of playing in week 7. But it’s better off remove him from your team.

Taylor Heinicke

Last week, Heinicke threw for only 182 yards, one touchdown, and one intercept against a Chiefs defense that has allowed an average of 29.3 PPG. That’s not a good sign, especially with the indication of Ryan Fitzpatrick coming back for week 7. The Heinicke hype is coming to a close, and it’s time to look at possibly other QBs like Tua Tagovalioa or Matt Ryan.
