NFL Divisional Winners Predictions

The NFL season is still early on but so far it has been very exciting. Today I will be making NFL divisional winners predictions. Let’s dive in!

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals. The Arizona Cardinals are the best team in the NFL. They are 7-0 through the first 7 weeks and have pretty much dominated everyone they have played, including their division rival LA Rams on the road, who are their biggest challenger for the division crown. Kyler Murray is playing like an MVP and has even more weapons than last year, such as AJ Green and Zach Ertz. Their defense has also been awesome, led by JJ Watt and Chandler Jones. It will be a great race down the stretch between the Cardinals and Rams, but expect the Cardinals to edge out the Rams by a game or two.

NFC North

Green Bay Packers. Remember when the Packers lost to the Saints 38-3 in week one and everyone was hitting the panic button? Well, that was short lived. The Packers have not lost since then, and frankly none of the games have been close. The team next in line in this division is the Vikings, who sit at 3-3, and frankly have little to zero chance of catching Green Bay. This is their division to lose.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are real threats to win the Super Bowl. Dak Prescott is operating at an extremely high level and his weapons have complemented him greatly. The defense needs some work as they can not keep relying on Trevon Diggs’ interceptions to stop teams. Frankly, this division is going to be a landslide, as the Eagles, Giants and Football Team are all awful. Dallas will cruise to a division title.

NFC South

Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The reigning Super Bowl champs will also be reigning NFC South champs after this season. Tom Brady continues to be an ageless wonder and their offense is rolling over any defense that gets in their way. Their defense remains intact from last year’s Super Bowl run, and this team should cruise to an NFC South title.

AFC West

Los Angeles Chargers. The AFC West may be the most confusing division in football. The current leader of the division is the Las Vegas Raiders, who are 2-0 since firing head coach Jon Gruden. The preseason heavy favorite Kansas City Chiefs sit in third place, at 3-4. However, I am not rolling with either of these teams for the division champs. The LA Chargers are a really well-balanced team and are led by an excellent quarterback, Justin Herbert. When it’s all said and done, the Chargers will be division champs, but expect an awesome race throughout the rest of the season, especially if the Chiefs can figure it out.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens. The AFC North is the best division in football. Through seven weeks, the Pittsburgh Steelers sit in last place and they are 3-3. The Browns sit at 4-3, whereas the Ravens and Bengals sit at 5-2 on top of the division. This division will be upfront for grabs coming down the stretch, but I’m betting on Lamar Jackson and John Harbaugh to beat out the rest of the division in a tightly contested race down the stretch.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills. The Buffalo Bills are the best team in the AFC through seven weeks. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs are superstars, and their defense is improved from last year. The Patriots might make a run at the division crown in the coming weeks, as Mac Jones will continue to improve and Bill Belichick is a mastermind. In the end, the Bills will win this division, and they most likely will earn a bye in the playoffs.

AFC South

Tennessee Titans. The Titans have a workhorse in Derrick Henry. He is the best running back in football, and he continues to carry the Titans offense. Their defense needs work, but the AFC South is also a very weak division. The Titans will do enough offensively to keep the division crown and secure a playoff spot.
