3 Good Landing Spots For Odell Beckham Jr

The Browns and Odell Beckham are currently negotiating terms that would release Beckham from the team. Beckham will hit free agency and will be available to be signed by any team. Despite his me first philosophy, Beckham could make a real impact for teams who need some extra offensive help. Here are the teams where Beckham would make the most impact.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints find themselves in desperate need of a spark offensively. While their defense has had a great season, their offense has been inconsistent. After losing Jameis Winston to a season ending knee injury last week, news also broke earlier this week that Michael Thomas would miss the rest of the season. The Saints offense now finds itself in a state of limbo, without a real leader who can take charge. Beckham could provide the Saints with a leader in the locker room, as well as an offensive spark. He could also be a reliable target for Taysom Hill, who may be starting for the Saints at quarterback on Sunday. With the Saints offense struggling to find consistency, Beckham could provide reliable talent that would help stabilize the offensive play.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders locker room has been a whirl wind of drama all season. The latest news is the heartbreaking incident that involved Henry Ruggs. Derek Carr has been a stabilizing agent this season, providing good and mostly reliable play for most of the season. Now without one of his favorite targets in Ruggs, that may change. The Raiders also have a tough slate of games after their bye week and could use receiving help. With a receiver who has as much raw talent as Beckham, Carr could improve what has already been a good season. Beckham could help this Raiders team be successful, by providing another target for Carr. Considering the division the Raiders are in, they could use all the help they can get to stay at the top spot.

Kansas City Chiefs

It’s no secret that the Chiefs are struggling this year. Their offense is built around big plays and those plays haven’t been happening this season. A part of the problem is the Chiefs current offensive weapons. Outside of Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill, Patrick Mahomes doesn’t have a reliable target to throw the ball to. Odell Beckham can fix that problem. Not only would Beckham be a reliable talent for Mahomes, but Beckham has also made a career off of jaw dropping plays. Beckham would fit right in an offense that promotes and excels off of big plays. The Chiefs are currently 4-4 and if they want to make the playoffs, their offense needs to improve drastically. Signing Beckham would be a step in the right direction.
