The College Basketball season is here. Let’s dive into the Big East Basketball 2021-2022 preview. The Big East went into last season as one of the conferences, but ended only having four teams in the tournament.
The Big East is looking to now be one of the best conferences for this season. The University of Villanova look to continue the domination of the Big East. Let’s see the Big East Basketball 2021-2022 Preview.
CONFERENCE CHAMPION- Villanova
Whenever it’s time for basketball, and you are bringing up the Big East, Villanova will always somehow be in the conversation. Collin Gillespie and Justin Moore will lead the number four team in the country, and two newcomers of Jordan Longino and Nnanna Njoku will make this team make a deep run in the dance.
Teams To Make NCAA Tournament
UConn: The number 24 team in the AP poll is bringing everybody back from last season. They have lots of talent and chemistry on that Huskies squad. The only issue with UConn is that team lost James Bouknight, their top scorer from last season. This team will most likely be a bubble team going into March.
Xavier: One of the teams looking to prove themselves early is Xavier. This team can quickly rise to be a top two in the NCAA Tournament or could fall to be a ten seed. They bring back lots of great players and transfers Jack Nunge from Iowa and Jerome Hunter from Indiana. Xavier’s head coach Travis Steele can be on the hot seat if they fail to win in the big dance in March.
