Week 11 of the NFL season features many intriguing matchups. Let’s take a look at this week’s Packers vs Vikings matchup!
Vikings receivers vs Green Bays secondary. Last week, Green Bay forced two interceptions on Russell Wilson and shut out the Seattle Seahawks which is extremely impressive. Meanwhile Justin Jefferson torched the Chargers secondary for 9 catches and 143 yards. Adam Thielen also added 5 receptions for 65 yards. Something will have to give this week as both of these position groups are playing extremely well. This will be a key matchup to watch.
Aaron Rodgers vs Minnesota’s secondary. Aaron Rodgers might be the best quarterback in the league but if there’s one secondary that can confuse Rodgers however it is the Vikings secondary. Rodgers always faces Minnesota twice a year and Minnesota’s defense is also led by veterans Harrison Smith, Eric Kendricks and Patrick Peterson who are all very familiar with Rodgers. Minnesota’s ability to create a turnover or two against Rodgers will be key.
Dalvin Cook vs Green Bay’s defensive line. Dalvin Cook is the center of Minnesota’s offensive scheme. The Vikings want to play through him every game if they can. Green Bay’s defensive line’s ability to slow him down will play a key role in disrupting Minnesota’s offensive attack.
This is going to be a good one. U.S. Bank Stadium will be loud on Sunday and will give the Vikings a little extra juice. Still, I’m rolling with the Packers. They are the superior team and Aaron Rodgers will make enough plays to win this game late. Packers win 24-20.
