Ja Morant Making Progress – Injury Report

Injury Report: Ja Morant
Justin Ford- USA TODAY Sports

Ja Morant was in a great mood during the shootaround on Thursday. He shot 3-pointers and had some fun with many Memphis Grizzlies teammates. It was another great sign that he walked with a crutch during Sunday’s win over the Sacramento Kings. But Morant’s timeline still hasn’t changed as he recovers from his sprained knee.

Evan Barnes (Grizzles Insider) is super pumped from what he saw on Thursday Night.

The Impact Ja Has When He Plays

There is no doubt that the Grizzlies are a different team when Ja is in there as he makes plays happen and is one of the best in the NBA. Ja was averaging 24.1 points per game with 6.8 assists and 5.6 rebounds. As he is definitely a spark plug for the Grizzlies offense. And he loves to get his teammates involved in everything he does.

Grizzlies Playoff Chances When He Comes Back – Injury Report- Ja Morant

The Grizzlies are definitely in prime position to make a playoff run when he comes back. The Grizzlies set 5th in the western conference as it stands right now. Grizzlies can make a playoff run with Morant as this team is talented, and they have proven that they can beat anybody as they have a win against the Warriors in the Chase Center this year, as the Warriors have only lost three games so far this year.

Ja Morant should be back in a couple of weeks on schedule for the Grizzlies, which is a big sigh of relief. Ja is a guy that plays hard on both ends of the floor, which is why he is one of the best in the NBA as he loves playing the game and doesn’t do it for the money like many NBA players. But in my option, this Grizzlies team is good with Ja in there and can make a playoff run, but the NBA can get crazy sometimes, so we will have to wait and see.
