Strong Start For Chicago

In their first game in the last six days, Chicago started hot with 33 points in the first quarter. After a Domantas Sabonis lay-up, they got their first lead of the night, 5-4. The Bulls never let the Pacers get the lead back. Chicago had a small 8-4 run to take a six-point lead in the final two minutes of the end of the first quarter.

Bulls’ Lead Grows

The Bulls, helped by DeRozan, built their lead to ten points. But the Bulls were able to get their lead to 18 points by three three-pointers made by Matt Thomas, Zach Lavine Nikola Vucevic made the lead 54-36. Indiana kept fighting to stay in the game but held the Bulls’ lead to 15 points at halftime, 63-48.

Bulls Hold On For Win

The Pacers cut the lead to ten points again at the two-minute mark of the third quarter, but this time made the lead eight to finish the third quarter with a score of 87-79.

Zach Lavine made it shine with 12 points in the fourth quarter to build the lead-up again. Lavine answered every time the Pacers brought the lead back within eight points. Indiana did outscore the Bulls 57-50 in the second half. But that didn’t matter with the Bulls getting revenge on the Pacers to even the season series at 1-1.

Final Thoughts

The Bulls had no Lonzo Ball in the lineup and had no issues against the Pacers. The Bulls might have another game postponed with the Hawks COVID-19 outbreak. Chicago will be ready and are motivated to get the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Indiana falls now six games below .500. The Pacers have gotten most of their wins against teams under .500. They are not doing so well against teams over .500. Hopefully, they get back on track Wednesday.
