The former Texas A&M guard Alex Caruso has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols, according to Bulls head coach Billy Donovan. Caruso is averaging 8.4 points, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals this season. Alex Caruso is still dealing with the foot injury he suffered last month.
When Will Caruso Return?
According to CBS Sports’ James Herbert, Alex Caruso is the only Bulls player in the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Caruso is one of as many as ten players to enter the NBA’s protocols from the Chicago Bulls. Caruso’s best chance of returning is on January 12th when they take on the Brooklyn Nets on ESPN, 9 pm at the United Center.

Javonte Green Out For 2-4 Weeks
Due to a groin injury, the Bulls will lose Javonte Green for the next two four weeks. Green ever since Patrick Williams has stepped up since being in the starting lineup. He has started 28 out of 35 games this season, resulting in 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 34.6% from the three-point line.
Derrick Jones Jr. will now start in place of Green for the next two four weeks. According to Bill Donovan, the Bulls will be without Tyler Cook for a “significant amount of time,” according to Bill Donovan. When you thought the Bulls were getting entirely healthier. You thought wrong.
Bulls Postponed Games Rescheduled
The Chicago Bulls was the first team to deal with a significant COVID-19 outbreak. That led to the NBA postponing two games against the Detroit Pistons on December 14th and December 16th against the Toronto Raptors. The Bulls’ third game was postponed that was supposed to be played on December 22nd because of the Raptors COVID outbreak.
Chicago will now play Detroit on January 11th. Also, Chicago will host Toronto on January 26th. Then on February 3rd, the Raptors will host the Bulls.
