Clippers take the loss against the Phoenix Suns 89-106. Lack of offense was prevalent tonight, he inability to create individual shots on all Clippers players tonight was obvious. The leading scorer tonight was Marcus Morris Sr. with 26 points. Although thpugh the scote dosent show it thte defense held up tonight with Serge Ibaka playing some key minutes. Nicolas Batum came back tonight off the covid list and put in 18 minutes but only 1 point to show for his effort. By the end of the game the back ups were in with Wenyen Gabriel with a late block.

First quarter was low scoring at 20-21 Suns up. Good defense in the first quarter with some poor shooting from both teams. Clippers start a slow 0-3 FG before getting into gear. Marcus Morris Sr. is seeing minutes in this game with some early defensive minutes with an early bucket. Second Quarter showed some holes in the clippers defense letting Chris Paul show his assist eliteness. Although Holding Devin Booker to relatively quiet half the Clippers defense is getting beat by the bench players. Deandre Ayton and Jae Crowder are not on the covid list but they are getting into game shape. Fortunate for the clippers because Ayton has been a problem in the past for the Clippers. Halftime core was 40-56 Suns up.

Looking Forward the Clippers are at 19-20 sitting outside of the playoff cutoff. Still hovering around .500 might be the strategy as long as paul George is out with his elbow and Kawhi Leonard is still rehabbing his injury. An update on Kawhi Leonard is he’s ahead of schedule on his injury. if the Clippers hover around .500 and then get the two key pieces back in George and Leonard the playoffs will be a much different story from nights like these.
